Olusola is a Partner in the firm with 16years experience in high value litigation and commercial transactions in the areas of intellectual property law, corporate finance, real property, corporate structuring, petroleum and maritime. He is an alumnus of the University of Lagos and the Institute of Maritime Law, University of Southampton, United Kingdom. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003 and is a member of the Section on Business Law of the Nigerian Bar Association. He has advanced competencies in contract negotiations and drafting and has worked on several big ticket transactions, some of which include:
(i) Reviewed Service Contracts and Farm-in Agreements for proposed foreign participation in Dawes Island Marginal Field (OML 54) and Tsekelewu Marginal Field (OML 40)
(ii) Contract negotiation and review on behalf of a foreign technical partner in the acquisition of interest in the Akepo Marginal Field (OML 90) and for negotiations for the provision of oil services, financing and insurance for the Akepo Marginal Field Development.
(iii) Negotiating, reviewing and drafting insertions in agreement for later dilution of foreign technical partner’s interest in Akepo Marginal Field by Nigerian owned Exploration and Production Company.
(iv) He was responsible for the drafting all contracts and led negotiations between private promoter and the Government of Kwara State with regards to the establishment of the Football College of Excellence Kwara State (now named Kwara Football Academy) under a private sector concession.
